Latest update regarding COVID-19

Updated 17th July 2021

Following on from the news from the Government, as of Monday 19th July we will be joining the rest of the country to make steps in returning to the new normal and restrictions easing, as a company we feel we must still work on continuing the fight to stop the spread.

Whilst we are delighted to announce that there will be some easing of restrictions on site, there will still be some things that we ask you to adhere to.

We are asking for people to maintain the use of masks in communal areas at busy times, but confirm that this is optional and people will be allowed to make their own decision in relation to the wearing of masks. For your safety and ours, we will continue with the use of our Perspex screens where face to face contact is inevitable. From a social distancing perspective, during busier times on the resort there is frequently queues, in this instance we are asking people to be aware of maintaining distances of at least 1 metre. We will continue to provide hand sanitiser throughout and ensure that on each entrance and exit of our buildings that we have the availability of alcohol gel as a provision.

We are continuing to offer indoor and outdoor dining options and reassure you that we will happily work with your needs to keep you safe if you prefer outdoor dining. Whilst the rule of 6 is now no longer, we are asking to be mindful of the amount of people within their groups, especially when sat inside our facilities.

The amenity block and shower room area will continue to operate a one way system but will be able to increase the capacity that is inside the area.

With regards to pool bookings, we have made the decision to continue with the pre booking procedure, but have considerably increased the capacity. Whilst there will be more people in the area at any time, we are still confident that we can adequately mitigate the risk of spreading and close contact.

I trust that you all understand the steps that we have put in place and we will continually monitor the situation and dynamically evolve as and when we feel a change is warranted.

Updated 25th February 2021

We are currently experiencing extremely high call volumes and email enquiries. So that we can assist guests effectively and efficiently, we are trying to prioritise guests with imminent bookings. Please help us in this effort by NOT getting in touch unless your booking is on or before 11th April 2021 (in England)

Government regulations on COVID-19 change frequently. Before you travel, you need to ensure you have checked and understood the relevant regulations applicable to you, your location, destination, and makeup of your party, as it is your responsibility to comply.

Please note that the below is not legal advice, and you must make sure you familiarise yourself with the relevant government regulation.

England

On 22 February 2021, the government announced its roadmap out of lockdown and what will be permitted in each step. Find out more here.

National Lockdown and Step 1 (up to and including 11 April 2021): During national lockdown and in Step 1, holiday accommodation is not permitted to open in England.

For Love2Stay this means:

  • Outdoor activities will be available to book
  • The natural swimming pool can reopen
  • Our coffee shop will reopen for takeaway food and drink on limited days

Please note: that any plans are subject to the Government giving the go-ahead to move to this next step of their roadmap, which they intend to confirm by the 5th April.

We have emailed all customers with a booking who are due to travel on or before 11 April 2021 with their options. All guests impacted by the closure period will receive an email from us with instructions on how to cancel their booking and swap for a full credit voucher by going to the ‘My Booking” section on our website and using your reservation number to log in. You will find further information here.

Step 2 (12 April – 16 May 2021):

In Step 2, self-contained accommodation will be permitted to open, and single-household parties will be permitted to travel.

If you are affected by this rule by staying with multiple households then please get in with the option to reduce party size or swap for a full credit e-voucher.

For Love2Stay this means:

  • We can reopen for touring caravans and motorhomes, unfortunately, our amenities and shower block will be closed
  • We can reopen for glamping lodge bookings
  • Our coffee shop will open for outdoor seating

Step 3 (17 May – 20 June 2021):

We will email all customers that we believe are affected by this rule with the option to reduce party size or swap for a full credit voucher.

If you have a booking on or after 21 June 2021, rest assured that we will be in touch with the options available to you closer to the time.

For Love2Stay this means:

  • Our amenities and shower block will reopen
  • Indoor and outdoor activities will be available to book
  • Our coffee shop will open for indoor and outdoor seating

Updated 31st December 2020

Following the latest Government update, it is clear that the threat of the virus, particularly with the new variant, is now at a too delicate stage and their strong advice is to stay local, minimise social contacts and take care to protect ourselves and others.

It is therefore with a heavy heart that we have made the decision to close Love2Stay until at least Mid-January 2021.

Our priority throughout the pandemic has been to keep our guests and staff as safe as possible. Latest Government advice in all tiers is to avoid non-essential travel outside local areas, and we certainly do not wish to encourage this.

We know how disappointed our guests will be, especially during this time and we have not made this decision lightly, but we must put the safety of our guests and staff first, and there is concern around the new variant being moved around the country.

All guests impacted by the closure period will receive an email from us with instructions on how to cancel their booking and swap for a full credit voucher by going to the ‘My Booking” section on our website and using your reservation number to log in. You will find further information here.

We are currently experiencing extremely high call volumes. To assist guests effectively and efficiently, we are trying to prioritise guests with imminent bookings, so please refrain from calling if you do not have an imminent booking.

We’re Good To Go!

Love2Stay is proud to announce we’re approved by the We’re Good To Go COVID-19 industry standard. This lets our guests know it’s safe to travel to our wonderful park and provides reassurance that clear processes are in place to adhere to Government and Public Health guidance.

VisitEngland, in partnership with VisitBritain, has launched the UK-wide industry standard and consumer mark to provide confidence for tourism as the sector works towards reopening.

The We’re Good To Go industry standard and supporting mark means Love2Stay can demonstrate we are adhering to government and public health guidance, have carried out a Covid-19 risk assessment and checked we have the required processes in place.

Updates 23rd June 2020

We can’t wait to welcome you back!

We are delighted to announce that Love2Stay will reopen on the 4th July and are looking forward to being able to welcome you back to our beautiful premier Glamping and caravan site.

We have been working hard behind the scenes to make sure we are ready for a safe reopening for both our team and guests alike. We have reviewed and adjusted our operating processes in every department, both front and back of the entire resort to ensure we follow all local government guidelines.

For full details of our new enhanced cleaning initiative, ‘Safe Stay’, please click here

Our reopening will inevitably affect some of the services and personal interactions which we have prided ourselves on in the past. While this may limit some of the things we have previously done, we are certain that both our guests and the team will agree that safety comes first.

For those of you who have not yet booked or have a credit voucher from a previously cancelled reservation, we recommend booking as we are expected to be busy.

In our 4th season since Love2Stay officially opened, we are determined to be here for you and your families, offering fun, relaxation and fantastic memories, as we have done for the last four years and will continue to do for many more.

We are so excited to welcome you back.

Love2Stay Team.
