Glamping Easter Holidays

Easter can be one of the most gratifying public holidays. Spring is in full swing; a renewed sense of optimism fills the air, the climes become a little kinder, and we can finally drink in a pub garden without shivering uncontrollably.

Naturally, many Brits pack up and head away for the Easter holidays. According to research from Visit Britain, six million of us use the Easter break for a getaway, and that’s just accounting for trips within the UK.

So the question is, have you got your Easter in order yet? We are here to tell you why glamping – that is, a luxury camping break – makes a compelling argument to become your plan this Easter Holiday.

Easter holiday getaways with outdoor luxury adventure.

Camping is a wonderful way to leave urban life behind, explore new territory, or bond with loved ones and friends. For some, however, the potential downsides of tent living make it an unattractive holiday option. We’re talking about the tinned food, soggy clothes, and an inconvenient distance to a steaming hot shower. Around a decade ago, glamping came along, and we’ve not looked back since.

Glamping has brought about the redefinition of luxury, taking away from constricted city hotels, and into the Great Outdoors. There’s no need to rough it. You can enjoy a host of outdoor activities – from a gentle countryside stroll to a full-on assault course, or a round of golf – and end the day with a foodie’s  feast, a soak in the hot tub, and a sound sleep in a king size double.

It is the principle of unashamedly taking the ‘best of both worlds’ which glamping lives by. Why should you compromise on comfort during your glamping Easter breaks in the UK? Glamping allows you to remove yourself as much as possible from the every day grind, while treating yourself to an aspirational lifestyle. Whether it’s luxury forest cabin, a beachside pod or a hill-top yurt, you can absorb the goodness of nature while sacrificing none of your wellbeing.

There is no age discrimination where glamping is concerned. Whether you are leaving the children behind and enjoying some ‘us time’, or are looking for some family fun, glamping has options to suit. And maybe best of all, you don’t have to decide between you and the kids, as there are some glamping resorts which offer dedicated zones for youngsters and adults.

Love2Stay offers adult-friendly activities such as spas, restaurants, and yoga sessions, along with an Adventure Play Zone, supervised watersports and craft sessions for the little ones. When it’s time to do something as a family, there is a range of choices including a cinedrome, pizzeria and swimming pool.

Glamping offers couples and friends the chance to discover a new place together, with plenty of local pubs and restaurants to choose from in the evenings. The luxurious nature of glamping accommodation means that you can explore safe in the knowledge that a cocoon of comfort awaits at your resort.

For those with children, the sheer breadth of outdoors activity options –from kayaking to treasure trails and den building – means that come the evening, even the most energetic of youngsters can be ready for some shut-eye. Comfortable sleeping arrangements don’t do any harm when bedtimes arrives, either!

So whether it’s a romantic escape or family adventure you are looking for, glamping has the answer this Easter.

Time is of the essence

Whether you are restricted to the bank holiday weekend or are determined to make the most of your week off, prudent planning becomes essential to the Easter experience. A glamping trip taken at Easter gives you all the leeway you need for a relaxed and revitalising break.

Instead of cramming a getaway in between Friday and Sunday evenings, Easter breaks allow you to leave in your own time on Friday morning, and return at a leisurely pace the following Monday – that means two full days to do as you please, with no thoughts of motorways or alarm clocks.

You can find that the buffer we are provided with by the Easter Bank Holiday weekend means that a break is truly a break. You can immerse yourself in nature with no rushing involved; kick back or go adventuring, the choice is yours.

And Easter offers more than enough time to travel to a part of the country you have never been to before. Whether it is the Devon coast, the Shropshire Hills, or the Lake District – glamping options are aplenty, and now is the time to go!

Eco Glamping

Easter, symbolised by the egg, is a representation of new life for many. And whether you are religious or not, Easter is a time when we can truly appreciate the wonders of nature; with flowers blooming, birds singing, and a biting wind replaced with a gentle breeze. Glamping puts us right in the heart of nature, and why wouldn’t we want to preserve this wondrous environment?

Glamping and sustainable holidays go hand in hand, giving us the chance to both appreciate, and protect, the beautiful world around us this Easter. Many forms of glamping accommodation are eco-friendly, being built with wood sourced from replaceable and fast growing tree species.

You can stay at glamping resorts powered by totally renewable energy sources; from wind to solar power. And there is an abundance of sustainable meal options which support local food suppliers. From potted shrimps in Morecambe to fresh sausages in Lincolnshire – glamping offers a culinary tour of local delicacies, benefitting the area itself and cutting down on the carbon footprint which the transport of your food creates.

Cheap Easter Breaks?

Luxury Camping at Easter

Easter holiday spending can add up quickly, with a few Easter eggs being the least of your worries. But by opting for a ‘staycation’ at one of the UK’s glamping resorts, you can cut out many of the added costs involved in an Easter break taken overseas.

Research conducted by Skyscanner revealed that British couples pay £700 on average for a city break in Europe. Glamping a little closer to home is an Easter option which can save you a significant amount while offering just as much adventure.

What’s more, for a more budget-friendly price, you could enjoy a lot more luxury than a trip to Europe would offer. While mid-price hotels located in European city centres typically provide a fairly basic level of accommodation, glamping resorts give you the opportunity to live it up this Easter. We’re talking about king size beds, log fires, hot tubs and underfloor heating, not to mention a bunch of things to do on site.

And with a host of local dining options on offer, you can also enjoy some lovingly-cooked cuisine on offer for much less than city prices. This is locally sourced food which has been prepared with passion, rather than the tired tucker served up by restaurant chains closer to home.

If you have kitchen facilities within your glamping accommodation, that is another chance to curtail costs and rustle up something delicious without the time constraints of everyday cooking. Pour yourself a glass of wine, assemble your ingredients, and pretend you are on location shooting your own TV cooking series.

So get your triple dose of nature, relaxation and luxury over the holidays. Glamping is quite simply an irresistible opportunity to embrace the Great Outdoors this Easter.

Love2Stay offers all the ingredients for glamping Easter breaks to remember. Each centrally-heated safari glamping lodge comes with its own hot tub, large flat screen TV, high-speed wifi, and is immaculately prepared with fresh linen and towels.

Glamping- should be called partying ! Extremely noisy due to no vetting and allowing same sex groups to book. Beautiful site but spoiled by ignorant people flouted the rules and management failing to enforce their rules.
