Love2Stay Shrewsbury Cancellation and Refund Policy

We know that plans can change, and we want to make things as smooth as possible if they do. Please read this policy carefully before booking — it forms part of your agreement with Love2Stay and sets out clearly what applies if you need to cancel.

1. How to Cancel Your Booking

Cancellations are only accepted from the lead guest named on the booking. To cancel, you must notify us in writing — verbal cancellations cannot be accepted and will not take effect unless otherwise decided by Love2Stay.

To cancel a direct booking:

  • Visit our website and click ‘My Booking’
  • Enter your reservation reference number
  • Follow the on-screen steps to submit your cancellation in writing

Your cancellation is not confirmed until you receive a written acknowledgement from Love2Stay. Please retain this for your records.

Booked through a third party or travel agent?

You must contact your original booking provider directly. Love2Stay cannot process cancellations, amendments, or refunds for bookings made through third parties.

2. Deposits

A deposit of £120 is required to secure your booking. This deposit is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellation, amendment, no-show, or early departure. By completing your booking, you agree to these terms.

3. Cancellation Charges

The following charges apply based on when written notice of cancellation is received by Love2Stay.

More than 14 days before arrival: Your deposit and any paid balance will be issued as a credit voucher, valid for 12 months from the date of issue. The voucher cannot be cancelled and may be used towards a future booking, subject to availability. An additional deposit may be required.

Between 14 and 7 days before arrival: The deposit will be forfeited. Any remaining paid balance will be issued as a credit voucher, valid for 12 months from the date of issue. The voucher cannot be cancelled and may be used towards a future booking, subject to availability. An additional deposit may be required.

Less than 7 days before arrival: The deposit will be forfeited, and you remain liable for the full outstanding balance. No credit voucher will be issued.

No-show (failure to arrive without notice):

Full booking balance is forfeited. No transfer or credit voucher will be issued.

Early departure (leaving before end of stay):

No credit voucher will be issued for unused nights under any circumstances.

We strongly recommend taking out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation costs. Love2Stay is not liable for losses arising from your inability to travel.

4. Credit Vouchers

Where a cancellation qualifies for a credit voucher, the following applies:

A voucher will be issued for the full eligible amount, valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Vouchers are non-transferable, cannot be cancelled, have no cash value, and cannot be extended once issued.

Credit vouchers will only be issued to the lead guest named on the booking. Love2Stay reserves the right to verify identity before processing any credit voucher.

5. Exceptional Circumstances

We are a people-first business, and we understand that sometimes life throws up situations that are genuinely out of your control.

If you are affected by a significant world event (such as government-mandated travel restrictions, a declared national emergency, or similar) or can provide clear evidence of exceptional personal circumstances that directly prevent you from attending your booking, we are happy to have a conversation about adjusted terms.

This may include options such as:

  • Rescheduling to a future date outside the standard same-year window
  • A goodwill credit voucher in place of standard cancellation charges
  • Other reasonable accommodations at Love2Stay’s discretion

Any adjusted terms must be agreed in writing with Love2Stay before they take effect. Exceptional circumstances claims are assessed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. Documentation may be required.

6. Love2Stay’s Right to Cancel

In the unlikely event that Love2Stay must cancel your booking, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer one of the following:

  • A full refund of all monies paid, including the deposit
  • A credit voucher for the full value, valid for 12 months from issue

Love2Stay’s liability is limited to the value of your booking. We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred as a result of a cancellation made by Love2Stay.

7. Activity Bookings

Activity bookings are governed by a separate policy and are non-refundable once confirmed. The following terms apply:

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking will receive a credit voucher for the full value, valid for 12 months from issue
  • Tickets may be transferred to an alternative date within two weeks of the original booking date, subject to availability
